
Mastercard Lighthouse FINITIV 2024 Fall Program welcomes 15 forward looking Nordic and Baltic fintech and fintech-enabler companies
The Mastercard Lighthouse FINITIV program has launched its 13th round with 15 outstanding fintech and fintech-enabler startups. This fall, the partnership program will focus on Sweden, Finland and the Baltics, with an ambition to stimulate and contribute to the already active and growing startup scene is these countries. Focus areas in the upcoming program include identity verification, B2B payments, personal finance solutions, open banking, and digital receipts to name a few. Mastercard Lighthouse is committed to supporting innovation and partnerships both vertically – with investors, banks and other corporate partners, and horizontally – among the startups and early scaleups that participate in the program.
Meet the Mastercard Lighthouse Fall Class of 2024:
Sweden
- Betalo is a licensed payment institute that enables B2B and B2C invoice payments with credit cards to optimize cash flow and loyalty programs.
- Ledyer reimagines B2B payments with seamless, risk-free solutions, including ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’, ensuring merchants are paid upfront for effortless transactions.
- Scayl is a loan financing platform providing fintech lenders access to scalable debt funding directly from banks.
- Tab Technology builds the receipt rails that powers Smart Receipts inside banking, accounting, and expense management applications.
- Visualizy is a multi-bank platform which handles the heavy lifting of integrating with banks and payment providers. It acts as a universal charger for the financial world reducing manual effort while ensuring scalability, compliance and security.
Finland
- Candour Face ID provides an instant, fraud-proof identity verification solution that works like Apple Face ID but goes further by reliably verifying the user’s identity for every login and transaction in just 1 second.
- EAS Project revolutionizes cross-border e-commerce. EAS automated cross-border compliance solutions combined with risk mitigation tools by payment solutions enable businesses to expand globally with ease and confidence.
- Enable Banking offers seamless Open Banking connectivity through APIs, enabling companies to integrate real-time data and payment processes directly into existing systems.
- Selfly Store provides smart vending machine solutions, offering easy and convenient grab-and-go shopping for consumers, while providing merchants with real-time data to optimize sales and operations across 20+ European countries.
- Silcube is a SaaS platform that helps funds, banks, and insurance companies run private debt portfolios efficiently, with AI and intuitive UI.
Baltics
- Bilance is a smart budgeting app in the Baltics that helps people save money and make better financial decisions with AI-powered insights.
- myTU is building the first fully automated digital bank that enables users to open IBAN accounts and facilitates quick and secure cross-European payments.
- SelectZero (former LiTech) helps data-driven organizations create trust and ensure data quality with a comprehensive data observability platform.
- Softloans develops embedded lending solutions that help other platforms grow by extending credit to their B2B customers.
- Taktikal is a B2B SaaS provider that specializes in helping Fintechs, Regtechs and Insurtechs design, orchestrate and automate workflows through a no-code platform with dynamic document generation and a simple API.
The program participants are both enhancing and challenging existing practices, and their solutions cater to the shifting demands and expectations of customers. Mastercard Lighthouse is dedicated to working with these organizations to provide customers, merchants, banks and enterprises with safe and cutting-edge payment solutions. Mastercard Lighthouse remains one of the most competitive programs of its kind for startups and early scaleups in the Nordic and Baltic region. As part of their applications, each candidate has proposed partnership scenarios with Mastercard and our banking partners. The shortlisted candidates were invited to present their solutions and partnership intentions to the program stakeholders prior to the selection of the final class.

During the fall program round, admitted program participants will be able to present their solutions and discuss possible collaboration areas with Mastercard, Resurs, Swedbank, SEB, and OP Financial Group in a 1 on 1 setting during a series of events and workshops. During the program, the program participants will also be introduced to relevant investors from the Mastercard Lighthouse’s Investor Circle, counting 140+ investors covering Europe, the UK and North America. Additionally, the companies will meet growth advisors such as AWS, Fintech Mundi and Invenio Growth. Moreover, the program facilitates meetings with various Mastercard stakeholders, including Marketing and Communication teams for guidance in making their story and messaging clear and enticing, as well as to optimize media exposure during and after the program.
