7Analytics uses hydrology, geology, and data science to develop high-precision risk tools that help everyone from infrastructure owners to insurance companies plan for imminent and future impacts of climate change. The company progressed significantly in the Mastercard Lighthouse MASSIV program by connecting with investors, expert advisors and alumni startups. One key result came from introductions to insurance companies in the region which resulted in 5 insurance companies signing up for a blind test of 45,000 buildings. As a result of the work in the program, 7Analytics got introduced to organizations such as Danske Bank and SEB, these meetings all contributed to better fitting solutions to the financial industry and creating a partnership model as basis for scaling their impact into the areas of the world where climate resilience is needed the most. Tespack provides smart mobile micro grids for challenging markets. Their advanced software, deep learning, and proprietary hardware helps them to bring reliable and sustainable energy infrastructure to remote locations. Tespack had the goal of strengthening their partnership with UN organizations and investigating opportunities for investment and microfinancing. Over the three months, Nvidia took Tespack into their Inception program, Amazon Web Services onboarded their services for free and they had multiple ongoing discussions with investors. They also signed a contract with the Zambian government and are currently in discussion with the Gambian government. With the help of UNDP, they refined their impact measurement and focused their messaging towards SDG 7. Ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all. Arbonics provides a tech-based carbon and ecosystem platform for forest and landowners in Europe – bridging the analogue world of forestry with the world of tech to fight climate change. During the program, they closed a funding round with the support from the investors they met in the program from VNTRS, Trill Impact and First Fellow Partners. During the expert workshop they gained a better understanding on carbon credit structures. They have an ongoing partnership with Swedbank and so far they have 130+ landowners signed up across 4 countries and 4 million trees have been planted already. Their goal for 2025 is to reach 1000+ landowners across 8 countries and remove 20 million tons of CO2. Openframe provides an effective management tool for construction and buildings in use. By making sustainability requirements operational, they streamline the process, and reduce manual tasks. With the ambition to expand their network within the financial sector, and improve their impact measurement, Openframe got introductions to Danske Bank, Fintech Mundi and their desired partner/ customer CBRE. They also further developed the way they measure their impact with the help of UNDP. During the expert workshop they made many great connections and received an invitation to ESG Dagen in Stockholm. Responsibly provides an AI enabled sustainability due diligence engine, which collects and analyzes data from suppliers holistically across social and environmental factors. Responsibly started the program with the goal of getting introductions to potential partners, customers and have a better understanding of how banks are tackling ESG. One key result through the program was the introductions to the banks, advisory board members, experts and some alumni companies like Doconomy and Normative in the program. Another additional value that came from the program was the different marketing materials provided by Lighthouse especially the video which, was one of their best performing posts.
