The MASSIV Journey Fall 2025: Company Highlights
We have successfully wrapped up our 12th edition of Mastercard Lighthouse MASSIV, the impact focused track of our Nordics and Baltics partnership program, and have amazing results to share once again from our strong cohort this Fall.
Bisly specializes in scalable, AI-driven building automation solutions, enabling real estate owners to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability. During the MASSIV program, Bisly focused on securing strategic introductions to major real estate developers and potential partners in the Nordic region. The company achieved 23 commitments and numerous introductions to industry experts and alumni, strengthening its connections within the Nordic ecosystem. Bisly also targeted telecom companies and automation integrators to strenghten its market position.
On the investment front, Bisly engaged potential investors, refined its investor pitch, and received traction at the Investor Demo Day. With guidance from UNDP, Bisly reviewed its impact measurement framework and strengthened its ESG strategies to better align with sustainability goals, reinforcing its commitment to energy efficiency and climate impact. For their significant impact on the people and the planet, Bisly was presented with the Impact Potential Award.
Cirkly digitalizes traditional Rotating Savings and Credit Associations (ROSCAs) into secure, digital savings circles, providing immigrants and young adults with opportunities to save and access funds together. In the MASSIV program, Cirkly aimed to forge partnerships with financial institutions, merchants, insurers, and credit bureaus to promote credit-building for underserved groups. The company explored synergies with several Nordic banks and connected with Mastercard’s Open Banking team.
Cirkly also sought impact investors who could provide not just funding but strategic guidance and networking within the European fintech landscape. The program enabled Cirkly to refine its fundraising strategy, pitch to investors at Demo Day, and receive guidance and advice from program experts like Strawpath and Fintech Mundi. Further, with support from UNDP, Cirkly refined its Impact Report and Impact Thesis. Cirkly also connected with NGOs such as Save the Children and the Swedish Red Cross, expanding its footprint in the impact ecosystem.
GraphoGame, a Finnish edtech pioneer, provides evidence-based literacy games in 17 languages and a teacher data platform for early detection of reading difficulties. Its goals in the MASSIV program included finding social impact investors, connecting with ministries of education, NGOs, and CSR programs, and attracting major players in the education sector to help reach 100 million literacy learners by 2030. Achievements of GraphoGame in the MASSIV program include re-engaging with partners and gaining new leads in Sweden, and initiating a pilot with the Swedish Red Cross.
GraphoGame also received introductions to organizations like UNICEF Sweden and Save the Children. With UNDP’s help, the company reviewed its theory of change and improved its alignment between impact goals and data collection. Increased program visibility led to interest from a Latin American government for national-level implementation. GraphoGame refined its company positioning, fundraising strategy, and pitch, and presented its solution at Slush as a program finalist.
Planboo provides technology for mentoring, monitoring, and monetizing biochar carbon removal, supporting both insetting and offsetting efforts. This enhances soil health and increases farmer incomes in the tropics. The company’s goals included securing a project-financing deal to scale biochar production, signing an LOI for an insetting partnership in the fashion/textile industry, and recruiting key candidates to help productize project financing. Through the program, Planboo received feedback from Nordic banks, identified new partnership opportunities in Africa, and expert guidance from multiple program experts specializing in carbon markets.
The company also engaged with impact investors such as Nordic Impact Funds, revised its fundraising strategy, and obtained valuable legal advice from program partner Synch. As a program finalist, Planboo presented at Slush, connecting with investors, partners, and the broader Nordic impact ecosystem.
Traced Systems transforms supply chain data into trusted Digital Product Passports, helping brands demonstrate product authenticity, comply with regulations, and enable circular business models. In the MASSIV program, Traced Systems aimed to pilot payment and rewards, secure green-finance partnerships, and increase commercial traction. During the program, Traced Systems was introduced to several teams at Mastercard and initiated dialogues with Nordic banks—key partners of the program. The company explored synergies with program alumni, connected with battery manufacturers, and received legal advice and guidance from Synch. With support from UNDP, Traced Systems refined its impact strategy and reporting.
The company gained traction with investors following Investor Demo Day and program exposure, explored possibilities with AWS, and pitched on stage in Stockholm, becoming a finalist of the MASSIV program. Later, at Slush, Traced Systems was named the overall program winner, recognized for its significant progress and accountability throughout the MASSIV journey.
